Ingredients for croutons with tomatoes:


  • Bread (white) - 2 slices.
  • Tomato (large) - 1 pc
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Green onion
  • Hard cheese - 4 slices.
  • Greens (basil, parsley or coriander)
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper (ground)
  • Butter

How to cook croutons with tomatoes step by step with photos


Spread the bread with the butter and sprinkle the chopped garlic on top. Scald a tomato, pour cold water over it, peel it, then cut it into circles. Put slices on bread and butter. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Spread grated cheese or mozzarella on top of the tomatoes. Sprinkle with slices of green onion. Grease a baking pan or tray with oil, put the sandwiches and bake in a heated oven for 10-15 minutes.

Remove the sandwiches from the oven. Let stand a few minutes, decorate with greens and you are ready to eat!
