We all love vegetables and different dishes made of them, they are not only tasty but also healthy! Here is one of my kids favorite veggie sandwich recipes!

Ingredients for sandwiches "Vegetable!":


  • Zucchini (preferably large)
  • Tomato (Preferably large)
  • Garlic (to taste)
  • Sour cream (or mayonnaise, the quantity depends on the number of zucchini pieces)
  • Dill
  • Spices
  • Bread (or rolls, according to your taste)
  • Sunflower oil (for frying)

How to cook sandwiches "vegetable!" step by step with photos


Slice zucchini into rings (medium thickness), sprinkle a little salt and let stand for about 10 minutes, then put in a colander to drain off the juice.

Then fry in oil until golden brown. When frying, they will be browned and there may be an empty space in the middle, it's not a big deal.

Cut the tomatoes into rings as well (the amount of tomato and zucchini circles should be equal). Also sprinkle a little salt.

Mix sour cream or mayonnaise, minced garlic and finely chopped greens.

Cut the bread to the proper size for our zucchini, spread our garlic dressing and arrange the zucchini and tomato, and decorate the top as you see fit. Enjoy!!!
