  • Mashed Potatoes (thick) - 200 g
  • Hard cheese - 100-150 g
  • Chicken egg - 1 pc
  • Green onion (a couple of feathers can be to taste, for stuffing #1) - 0,2 bunch.
  • Dill (to taste, for stuffing #2) - 3 sprigs.
  • Mayonnaise (or thick sour cream, for stuffing № 1 and № 2) - 4 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil (for greasing) - to taste
  • Bread (Optional, as many slices as you want the base for sandwiches) - 6...8 slices.
  • Black pepper - to taste

Products. Amount of food is up to you, depending on the quantity of sandwiches. Friends, mashed potatoes can be made on purpose, or you can use what's left over from the side dish

We prepare mashed potatoes according to our favorite recipe (I do it with butter and a drop of milk) The only condition is that it must not be runny!

Make stuffing #1 Add finely chopped green onions, 1 egg and 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise (or sour cream) to the cooled mashed potatoes If the puree is too thin you can reduce the amount of mayonnaise, or not add it at all

Mix everything. The potatoes must not be too thin!

Make stuffing #2 Grate cheese on a coarse grater, add shredded dill and mayonnaise (2-3 spoons, depending on the amount of cheese), you can pepper to taste

This is enough stuffing for 6-8 sandwiches. Grease a baking tray or form with vegetable oil (I do it on a mat), lay out the pieces of bread, then spread the potato mixture on the bread and gently flatten, but not too much.

Then spread the cheese filling on top

Put the sandwiches in a preheated oven at 180°C, for about 15 minutes, until golden brown, when the cheese is melted

Sandwiches are ready. Top with a bit more ham, if desired.
