  • Trout (1 small steak (about 120 gr)) - 1

  • Corn (Canned sweet corn) - 3 tablespoon
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Broccoli (Took small frozen florets) - 5 units

How to cook baby fish soup step by step with photos


I used a small trout steak for broth (it was in the freezer, about 120 grams). Cooked a little, in 1 liter of salted water. When the fish is ready, almost immediately after boiling, I take it out and turn down the heat to medium. I put the fish aside for now.

I add 2 tablespoons of rice, onions, corn. This picture shows 1/2 a medium onion. If you add finely chopped onions right at the beginning of cooking, they in the overall flavor (this is for little fussies who don't like onions :) ). I don't have fine. Corn to taste. Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes, then add broccoli for another 20 minutes (4-5 florets). You can add more salt, depending on who has what taste. In the photo I took out of the soup and washed the broccoli. My family eats it whole, but if the baby refuses to eat "the herb", you can chop it up and put it back.

By this point our little bit of rice should have cooked, to give some viscosity to the soup. This is where I stripped the steak of its bones and put the meat back in the soup. Then you can cover it with a lid and let it stew just on a warm burner. Bon Appetit!
