Ingredients for Brazilian chicken soup:


  • Chicken - 1 pc
  • Onions (medium) - 1 pc
  • Potatoes - 3 pcs
  • Sweet paprika (one green and one red) - 2 pcs
  • Tomato - 2 pcs
  • Garlic - 2 clove
  • White dry wine - 100 ml
  • Rice - 0.5 glass
  • Green peas (canned) - 100 g
  • Spices (salt, pepper)

How to cook Brazilian chicken soup step by step with photos


Make a strong chicken broth (you can add stock cubes to the chicken).

Dice potatoes, peppers, peeled tomatoes, minced garlic, mix it all with 2 tbsp. Put cubes of potatoes, peeled peppers and tomatoes into a saucepan and stir it all together with 2 tablespoons of oil and wine. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for 15 minutes.

Add the rice and peas and simmer for a few minutes with constant stirring. Remove the chicken from the stock and cut the white meat into small pieces and add it to the vegetables together with 500 ml of stock. Cook for about 20 minutes. until the rice is cooked. Add the greens.

Pour onto plates and sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan and decorate with a sprig of parsley. Bon appetit!
