Another one of my family's favorite soups. It comes out tender and creamy with mushrooms. It's pretty quick and easy to make. The flavor is in the thyme.

Ingredients for soup with cauliflower and mushrooms:

  • Potatoes (large) - 2 pcs
  • Butter (for frying mushrooms) - 2 tablespoon
  • Thyme (dried) - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Champignons - 4 pcs
  • Cauliflower - 300 g
  • Onions - 2 pcs
  • Broth cube (mushroom) - 1 pc
  • Nutmeg (grated (on the tip of a knife))
  • Cream - 200 ml

How to cook soup with cauliflower and mushrooms step by step with photos

Dice potatoes and fry in oil, season with salt and pepper and thyme.

Peel the cabbage, cut into small florets (I had frozen cabbage). Put saucepan with water on stove.

As the water begins to boil, add cubes and cabbage.

Slice the mushrooms into thin slices, fry them in butter on a high heat, stirring all the time.

Peel the onion, dice and fry.

Add potatoes to cabbage, add mushrooms to boil, add onions to boil.

Add cream and water to the soup (bring it to the full volume), salt and pepper it, add nutmeg, let it boil for 5 minutes and the soup is ready!
