Fish soup in a pan

A recipe as simple as it is ingenious, and I got it from my mother-in-law. My husband is a fisherman and I always have small trout in my catch, so I pre-prepare them (clean, gut, and freeze in portions). And then, when you need to make a quick soup, this recipe really comes in handy.
Ingredients for fish soup in a pan:
-
Fish
-
Onions
-
Dill
-
Butter
-
50 g
-
Potatoes

Fry onion in butter. |
|
Pour water into a pan with the onions and put the fish into the water until it boils. Cook for 10 minutes. |
|
Meanwhile finely chop potatoes into julienne strips. I do it with a Berner grater. The amount of potatoes can vary depending on the taste of the eaters. |
|
After boiling for 10 minutes, 3 minutes before they are ready - salt and pepper them and season to taste, add the potatoes. |
|
One minute before they cook, add the greens - I had dill and chives. Allow to simmer for 5-10 minutes. |
