Today I returned from Krasnoyarsk, and the house was a mess :) everyone is working, important :) I had to rush to the pots :) save the family from hunger :) the assistant was a booklet :)

Ingredients for rassolnik at home:


  • Beef
  • Beef mushrooms (frozen)
  • Potatoes
  • Rice - 3 tablespoon
  • Tomato paste - 200 g
  • Cucumber (pickled) - 3 pcs
  • Greens
  • Sour cream

How to cook home style rassolnik step by step with photos


Boil a broth on the beef skirt (I boiled it for an hour).

When the broth is ready, add the clouded mushrooms to the pot. To separate the meat from the bone, cut it into small pieces and leave in the broth.

After 20 minutes of cooking broth with mushrooms add diced potatoes.

After adding potatoes, add rice in 5 minutes.

Cut cucumbers into slices and add tomato paste.

Braise for 10 minutes.

Add ready cucumbers to the soup.

The tomato paste makes our soup red.

Rassolnik soup at home is ready!!! When serving, sprinkle with greens and dress with sour cream. ENJOY YOUR MEAL!!!
