  • Broth (chicken) - 3 l
  • Breast (turkey or smoked chicken) - 300 g
  • Carrots - 1 pc
  • Onion - 1 pc
  • Garlic - 2 clove
  • Oregano - 1 glass
  • Lentils (red) - 1 glass
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt

How to cook smoked turkey and lentil soup step by step with photos


Put a pot on the fire, add oil and fry chopped onion and garlic.

Add grated carrots. Stir well.

After a couple of minutes add the lentils and the broth. Bring to a boil over high heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes until the lentils are soft.

Dice the meat.

Put oregano and turkey pieces in saucepan. Bring to boil.

Serve hot with greens.
