Here are my nettles! Don't be intimidated by the amount. |
We pour boiling water over them and cover them for a few minutes. Then we put the nettles in a strainer and rinse them with cold water. As you can see the plants have shrunk in size. |
Meanwhile, put the peeled and sliced potatoes into a pot, pour water on them and simmer until they are almost cooked. |
Roast the potatoes in vegetable oil with peeled and chopped onions and carrots. Add to the pot. |
Squeeze out the nettles from the water and chop them. Chop green onions, dill, and parsley. NOTE that nettles can be boiled for no more than 15 minutes, or you will lose all the vitamins in them!!!
Let's throw the greens into the pot. |
Now the eggs. If there are any boiled ones left - peel them and add them directly to the brew. I had a few dyed ones in the fridge. |
If they are raw, we beat them in a cup, pour in kefir or milk or plain water and whisk well. Then we pour the eggs into the pot, stirring vigorously. If you like large flakes, you can not add liquid to the eggs, but whip them without anything. |
I cut into the borscht two sausages, but I did it for the first time, which makes my family very happy, but it is not necessary. |
Salt and pepper it, add some acid and spices and turn it off. |
If you like, add sour cream and go and saturate an impoverished body with vitamins!
Bon appetit!!!! |
