  • Onions - 1 pc
  • Potatoes - 2 pcs
  • Carrots - 1 pc
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Meatballs (meat, turkey or rabbit) - 8 units
  • Vegetable oil (unrefined, any) - 1 teaspoon
  • Water (filtered) - 200 ml
  • Salt (to taste)

How to cook onion soup "cipollino" step by step with photos

Prepare and peel vegetables. Meatballs (meat, onion and white bread minced twice) can be taken frozen.

Cut the vegetables into large chunks. This is especially important for onions: this will give them a special flavor.

Put everything in the pots. You can also cook in a regular pot (or in a turkey - for children from 6 to 10 months), but in a pot tastes better and healthier. Pour water so that it barely covers the vegetables. This point is important: if a lot of water, the taste will not be the same. Kids know what delicious means, so we have to add a little salt. Put it in the oven for 30 minutes.

Before serving, add unrefined vegetable oil (I use sunflower oil). Depending on the age and preferences of eaters Chowder can be served as a soup puree (grind it well and add water), mashed potatoes, puree with pieces, or as is. Tasty, simple, affordable, healthy, fast! This dish can be a great base for nursing babies.
