  • Potatoes - 8-9 pcs
  • Onions - 2 pcs
  • Garlic - 4 clove
  • Tomato paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Butter - 100 g
  • Milk - 1 glass
  • Salt
  • Greens (to taste)
  • Bread (white, for croutons)
  • Milk (for croutons)
  • Butter (for croutons) - 1 tablespoon

How to cook soup "parmentier" Step by step with photos


Peel and fry the onion and garlic.

Peel and dice potatoes and put them in a pot. Add fried onion and garlic, tomato paste, and pour 3 cups of water over it. Place on heat and simmer until vegetables are tender.

Mince the boiled vegetables and the broth in a blender, add the hot milk, butter and salt to taste.

For the croutons, cut the crusts off the white bread and dice it. Fry our cubes in butter.

Put scalded herbs in a bowl with the soup. Serve with the croutons.
