Pea Soup

Winter soup.
Hot, hearty and uncomplicated.
Ingredients for pea soup:

Turkey
(smoked)

200 g
-
Chicken
(any part)

300 g

Potatoes
-
2 pcs

Carrots
-
1 pc
-
Petiole celery
-
1 handful.

Salt
(to taste)

Black pepper
(to taste)

Soy sauce
-
1 tablespoon
-
Sesame oil
-
1 teaspoon

How to cook pea soup step by step with photos

Soak dry peas in cold water overnight.Then drain the water. Rinse the peas. |

Boil water and add peas. Stir in 2 cloves in a peeled onion and add them to the soup. Cook over low heat for 20 minutes. |
|
Slice chicken and smoked meat, add to soup and simmer for 20 minutes. |
|
Grate potatoes and carrots on a coarse grater. Finely chop the celery. Add them all to the soup. Cook for 20 minutes. |
|
I used "Pepper Blend". Add the soy sauce and salt to taste. At the end remove the onion and add the herbs and sesame oil.It adds a light scent of roasted seeds and is very healthy.
