Ingredients for soup with red lentils and vegetables:


  • Lentils (TM " Mistral") - 0.5 glass
  • Potatoes - 1 pc
  • Carrots - 1 pc
  • Cauliflower - 200 g
  • Tomato paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Greens - 1 bunch.
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoon
  • Salt

How to cook soup with red lentils and vegetables step by step with photos


Prepare the foods.

Rinse lentils with cold water and bring to boil. Bring to boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes over low heat.

Rinse and peel vegetables and greens. Dice potatoes and carrots. Dice cauliflower into florets. Finely chop onions and scallions.

Add chopped potatoes to lentils. Cook for 7-10 minutes.

Then add cauliflower and simmer for 5-7 minutes.

Pour vegetable oil in a frying pan and add onion and carrot. Fry quickly. At the end we add tomato paste and stir. Fry our vegetables for another 1 or 2 minutes and remove from the heat.

Add our stir fried vegetables to the soup. Stir well. Add a little herbs and salt. Bring soup to the boil and remove from heat.

Serve our soup with chopped garlic. Enjoy!!
