Ingredients for meatball soup:


  • Ground beef - 300 g
  • Chicken egg - 1 pc
  • Potatoes - 4 pc
  • Carrots - 1 pc
  • Onion - 1 pc
  • Rice - 3 tablespoon
  • Tomato paste - 2 tablespoon
  • Salt (to taste)
  • bay leaf
  • Dill
  • Vegetable oil

How to cook soup with meatballs step by step with photos


Peel and slice carrots, potatoes, onions. Put chopped carrots in a saucepan and bring to boil. Pour hot water over rice for 10 minutes so that it slightly swells. Add half of chopped onion, 2 tbsp. Spoonfuls of rice soaked in hot water, 1 egg, salt, pepper.

When carrots are almost boiled, we lower the rice and potatoes. Then gently lower the formed balls (meatballs). Fry on a pan with vegetable oil chopped onion, when the onion fries a little add tomato paste or chopped tomato.

Salt. Add chopped greens.
