  • Tomato (fresh) - 2 pcs
  • Onion - 1 pc
  • Butter - 3 tablespoon
  • Tomato paste - 2 tablespoon
  • Milk - 1 glass
  • Broth (meat) - 1 glass
  • Shrimps (cleaned) - 100 g
  • Vodka - 1/2 glass
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (ground, to taste)
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 2 tablespoon
  • Greens (dill)
  • Sour cream - 100 g

How to cook tomato soup with vodka step by step with photos


To make tomato soup with vodka you should first wash the tomatoes, pierce them in several places, and bake them in the oven for 10 minutes. Bake them until the skin begins to break off. When the tomatoes have cooled, peel them.You can do it faster if you follow the recipe exactly, just scald the tomatoes with boiling water.

Finely chop the onion and warm it with melted butter for 15 minutes., Then add flour and simmer for about 10 more minutes. Then add tomato paste, broth and milk. Cook for about 15-20 minutes.

Finely chop washed dill. Rinse and dry shrimp. Cut tomatoes into large slices. Season the soup with salt, pepper and vodka. Add the dill, shrimp and tomatoes. Bring soup to the boil and pour onto plates. Whisk sour cream separately and serve with the soup.
