Ingredients for tuna soup with vegetables:

  • Fish (canned tuna in its own juice) - 300 g
  • Sweet pepper (large sweet red peppers) - 2 pcs
  • Vegetable oil (Olaina sunflower oil) - 2 tablespoon
  • Corn (frozen) - 400 g
  • Potatoes - 2 pcs
  • Onions - 1 pc
  • Garlic - 3 clove
  • Greens (mixed; parsley, dill, coriander, green onions) - 1 bouquet.
  • Salt
  • Black pepper (freshly ground)

How to cook tuna soup with vegetables step by step with photos

A simple set of products for soup.

Remove the stalks and seeds from the peppers. Cut the flesh into medium cubes.

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.

Pour olive oil in a heavy bottomed saucepan and heat through.

Put onion and garlic in hot oil and fry for 5 minutes.

Add peppers, fry for 8-10 minutes.

Peel potatoes and cut into 1.5 cm thick slices.

Add potatoes to the potatoes in the pot, stir-fry for 5 minutes.

Add 1.5 l water to the pot, bring to the boil, add corn and tuna together with the juice and simmer for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste and let the soup stand for 15 minutes.

Serve with finely chopped greens.
